I am only able to find some $2 feeders to the DTD deepstack in the lobby.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Have you got your fliters set to a low(ish) buy in level??

That might be it David, I tried to exclude micro-stakes but maybe I did the opposite..

Some bright spark decided RobYong was a good alias to use. Ipoker made them change it.

Happy to refund you or anyone that has an issue with this.

Dunk - i think that's a little harsh on Nicola, she's put 18 hours in a day for the last week dealing with phone calls and emails and posts from players.

Cheers Rob

Rob,

Can I start by saying that DTD deserves every commendation it gets. It is an innovative, constantly evolving business which continues to lead its market in every facet. However, last night, there were clearly some issues which had an effect on some player's viewpoints, and I hope you don't mind me putting my thoughts across on this thread, which will attempt to summarise what I believe to be the major issue.

I think the main issue is not with the guy who got his nickname changed. To be honest, I can understand iPoker asking for it to be changed.

I think the main issue stems from the problem in the lobby, which for first time users of iPoker (myself included) was incredibly frustrating. The whole point of signing up for a lot of people was to try and win a seat through one of these fantastic satellites. The software is clearly superior to Boss, and the game itself was enjoyable for quite a while.

The issues arose when we were supposedly down to about 70 left, which is in fact 60 left. I myself for example had a couple of spots where I put a much higher percentage of my  chips at risk than I would have with only 10 players left to get knocked out, as I would have known I could fold into the money. As a result, by the time I realised there was in fact on 7 people to go, not 17, I was in a position where I couldn't fold my way home, and had to try and get lucky. I failed and busted in 54th.

This isn't a bad beat story, those hands could have played out another way and I could still go out early, but I do not think I am overexaggerating in saying this; if I had been aware that less players were in fact still in the tournament, I would have had a significantly higher chance of winning a seat into what is clearly the best comp at this buyin level in the UK.

I agree that anyone demanding answers from Nicola is being a tad unfair as she has been working incredibly hard on this, as shown by this thread, and she always replies to any question, however simple they may seem.

I would be interested to know DTD's take on the issues that are clearly there to see with iPoker's lobby, whether from yourself or Nicola or another of your excellent team.

I hope DTD continues to go from strength to strength. I love playing there, and I will be supporting this comp at the weekend regardless.

Cheers,

Ruud

Sorry if this question as already been asked but. . . . .

how can I get funds from my current DTD (boss) account into any new account DTD (ipoker) that I set up without incurring any costs?

I deposit using a credit card which charge me 3% for "gambling transactions" Lets say I have an imaginary balance of £1000 in my old DTD account. If I withdraw using the method that I deposit means when I put the £1000 back into the new account, I would get charged £30.

What is the best way to get around this?

Thanks.

Hey

Have you got another card you are able to withdraw onto, which doesn't incur the charges? You can change the card on your account if necessary, you will just need to make a deposit with a card once to be able to withdraw to it.

Have you got a moneybookers account or neteller account you could withdraw to?

Cheers Nicola

Thanks for getting back to me Nicola.

I seem to remember this kind of lobby problem being an issue on iPoker when I last played on their software about 3 years ago.

this is probably true, all DTD can do is make representations to the network as all the skins do

Been there, got the T-Shirt

Overall though, IPoker player experience/likely effect on satellite numbers etc far outweights being on Boss, imo

Couldn't agree more - and as Ruud said, it's not a go at DTD at all. As always, these satellites are great value - especially these with 50 seats gtd.

As one of those who suffered because of the lobby issue I was merely saying that I was very surprised that such a large network as ipoker had an issue like this in 2013.

Hi Folks

I agree with you all however we are just at the beginning of a new adventure with Ipoker

We will as always be as honest as we can and make the relevant requests for fixes and improvments

What i have been told is this is a display error in the tournament lobby due to a refresh rate issue.
As a temporary resolve is to take a look at the table section of the lobby which will confirm the remaining number of players.

We have been assured by the iPoker Network technical team that they are working on fixing this as a matter of urgency.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused

Hope to see some of you tonight for more of the same....................Nick

it's often far easier to criticise than praise but in fairness to DTD the lobby issue has been raised and will no doubt be looked in to...as for the rest with help on here, help through the ipoker support, crazy overlays that are stuck to, well run tournaments and trying to cater for all levels of poker player you couldn't find a negative if you tried...they are always spot on...i don't know any of the staff there but i can imagine sometimes they look to the skies and think WTF do we bother.
