Okay

Genting is actually £50 (not $) for a £440 seat, 1 in 8 players get a seat, 2 seats gtd to an event with a £100K gtd

DTD is £30 (average spend was £60 tonight) for a £336 seat, 1 in 4 players got a seat, 50 seats gtd into an event £150K gtd

In the DTD satellite 50 out of 196 players won through the £2 feeder route

Suggestions please anyone, happy to review sattelites for next Deepstack, we can make them £50 / £60 freezouts but then players who want to try 1 bullet will be excluded, or we could do £30 freezeouts and drop to less seats?

I wouldn't bother trying to defend it Simon, anyone with half a brain knows you guys are doing an awesome job and offering us great value to tempt us over to I-poker. You've got my business on there for sure now you have moved.

I also echo the thoughts of LB44 regarding people complaining when you are trying your best, I know you welcome constructive comments that are valid and do your best to look at them.

Anyone know the 'trick' to get the correct number of players left. Clearly some in the lobby list who aren't there ?

Found it I think
this may be a shot in the dark but as You already had Nivarna as your name on Dtd or ipoker, when you downloaded the new software to try and stay anon for a while to gain an advantage over those that knew you already, you devised the cunning plan to call yourself Nivarnan?

I got a seat too but not until I had spent my last £30 in the add on break of a bloody re buy instead of the add on ffs. Talk about kissing 5000 chips good bye.

The way I read this thread it appears a few players felt genuine frustration with their customer experience, particularly with issues concerning the lobby. Most reasonable folk will deduce that the ipoker skin has some technical issues and all DTD can do is feedback their customer's problems to the network. I see that they want to do this and are encouraging feedback via a separate thread so fair play.

Dealing with customers frustrations when things go wrong is just a normal part of running a business and in fact this information is useful and valuable if you want to move forwards. I don't see why any normal discussion like this needs to turn into a propaganda frenzy about how DTD have changed the landscape of poker and healed the world. If you discourage the normal moans and groans how does a business improve? In short, some people didn't know how many players were left in a comp, some names were changed mid-game, and the add-on system wasn't clear. I am sure both DTD and their customers want these issues resolved moving forwards. Chastising people for being frustrated and then saying how hard everyone works at DTD and how great life is because they're around is just not necessary. Can everyone just be normal pls.

This sausage character has obv spunked a hundo into it and didn't get a seat. That is it.

I didn't slam DTD at all. I said how they do great things for poker. I will continue to travel from Manchester to play there but I won't be playing this 1rebuy/1add on again. Like many other players, I'd much prefer to see a freezeout. Unless you get very lucky the add on is a must to stand any sort of chance as it increases most stacks by 50/100%. Has the move to ipoker been a success? will the 4/1 ratio be there next month? Will they continue to give so many seats away with such big overlays? Nobody can knock what the DTD team have done for poker in the UK so please don't take my post the wrong way xx

Hi Sausage.

Leaving aside the guaranteed number of seats in this month satellites, the problem with freezeout satellites (certainly on Boss) is they wouldn't generate the seats into the target event

Obviously in a world where Many hundreds of players are trying to satellite in, freezeouts would be good, but the 1R1A is need to generate the prize pool, currently

I'd assume a reason, amongst others, to move to IPoker would be to increase player numbers such that DTD can have a lot more flexibility on satellite buy-in options for players

I just do not know if it is value really. It's a lot of money for the sat for the prize.

50 seats is good, but sats elsewhere aren't usually about 3.5 x sat buyin. Although you can play it as 30 FO or just with addin, if I play I won't be in for full 90.

However mr sausage, you could have said it in a much nicer way! Smiley
