You can try for multiple day one seats

If you qualify for day 2, then subsequent tokens can be refunded in cash:

-If you qualify for day 2 but then play another day 1 hoping to get a bigger stack, the first stack is auto forfeited. (this might happen if you win through as a short-stack, you can decide to give that stack up and try again)

-If you have multiple tokens but only use one to qualify in the last day one, then the other tokens are NOT refunded in cash, you have to qualify in a day one where there are future day ones to follow to be eligible for token refunds

Hypothetical question which could happen with ten day ones

Say 15 go through to day two

16 players left and 16th will get the 300 euro back

2 very short stacks who are on the same table

Both shorties go all in and get a third caller who knocks both out

Yes, but the prize for that higher position is to move forward to Day 2 with your chipstack, which is now zero. The prize for the lower position is €300. Therefore it would actually be better to finish 16th than 15th.

Pretty sure in the online ones a few months back (different tourny) they would have sent 11 through and the next six would have exited but still received a token for another day 1.  

So to confirm if we had 116 runners we would issue 11 seats to day2 and the remaining 6 players will get a €300 refund to try again.

Following on from the post above, I'm beginning to think that these Day 1s should have no bubble refunds. In this 116 runner example, there should just be 11 seats and then the extra €1800 just gets put into the overall prize pool when the money is reached on Day 2.

What about playing day 1 online (and getting thru)  and simultanioulsy playing the 100 seat guarantee?

As soon as a player makes Day 2 I will refund all of their previously won satellite seats (as long as they don't request to re-enter and forfeit of course) and therefore anything won after this won't be refunded as I simply won't see it in my original check.

So if you make it through to Day 2 on Saturday (and happy with stack) you can't play the Sunday final to cash in the seat as you would have no intention to use it plus I have already noted down seats to be refunded.

If you have registered for the Sunday Turbo 100 seater (which is before the online Day 1) and win a seat and make Day 2 from the online day 1 then this will be considered as winning it before you made day 2 so happy to refund this seat.

The only reason you wouldn't get a refund on the last example is if it's the LAST online day 1 and you already had a seat for the final that night (again no reason for you to play).

I can only refund multiple day 1 tokens up to the total of day 1s remaining (how many opportunities remaining to play them) therefore if you win 6 day 1 seats, make day 2 on the 2nd from last day 1 with 5 seats unused I can ONLY refund 1 as there was only 1 more chance to play. So please win only the number you can play

Hi Simon, we won't be entering any players until they arrive to give everyone the same opportunities to late reg, but yes please register online if you have a token or to secure your seat. Online reg players will be guaranteed a seat even if we hit capacity as we'll include them in the count.

If anyone has an unused Day 1 token and hoping to play live this weekend, please register asap so that we have an idea of numbers on Saturday for dealers, staffing etc and to give Rob an idea too

Somehwre on this thread does it explain why the live Day 1's start with 50,000 chips but the online Day 1s have only 5000?

Does somewhere but basically the club dont have 10/20 chips etc, so whatever live day1 stacks finish with the stack is divided by 10 to give the day2 stack
