Has anything been said about the likelihood of the live day 1s taking a very long time to get down to 10% of the field in order to end play due to the structure of 50k chips and 38 minute clock? Or am I wrong to think that could take more than 11 or 12 hours of play?

I asked the question but didn't really get an answer (I suppose it's guess work)...average stack at end of day 1 live will be 500k...blinds at level 19 (13-14 hours play with breaks) will be 6000/12000 so I can see it being a very long one which is why I was undecided whether to play live or online.

Having said that my usual trick is not to last that long so it shouldn't matter

Just to clarify....If  you were fortunate enough to make day 2 at the first attempt using 300 euro tokens then any remaining /spare 300E tokens will get credited to your account for future tournaments  ie  you get a refund ?

Apologies if I've missed this but couple of questions about the £100 1r 1a 10 x £3000 seats sat on Thurs 23rd May.

What does the package consist of ?

Can you play it if you've already won through a day 1 tournament and taking chips through or would this also count as forfeiting your stack ?

The Day Two buy in is €2700+300 which is around £2525. A £3000 package gets you that plus approx £475 in expenses

I'll find out the answer to the second question today

I was thinking along the lines of the fact that Day 2 is a re-entry, thanks for finding out.

Good point Ray........if already qualified for day 2 and get knocked out...... could we not use any package won as a "back up" for re-entry?

This means the 8.30pm will be the €30 Turbo Freezeout with 5 seats GTD, however we should make more seats as players are expecting 10 seats!

Your spare €300 token will be converted to cash in your account if you get through to Day 2 and do not enter another Day 1. The only exception is if you have two Day 1 tokens going into the last satellite where I think if you get through on your first bullet you lose the second one.

I'm not sure whether the Day 1s are re-entries but perhaps they should be to A) pump the pot and B) give people a chance in the exception scenario to use up their last Day 1 token.

Say 15 go through to day two

16 players left and 16th will get the 300 euro back

2 very short stacks who are on the same table

Both shorties go all in and get a third caller who knocks both out

What does 15th receive???

that's a great question.... but think of it as a qualifier for day 2..... there is no prize pool to contend with - so he gets nothing...... only a max of 10% of the field go through with chip stacks..... therefore in that question a max of 15 players.... but that would be max players.

I suppose in theory.  the chip leader could hypothetically knock out every player on his table during the last hand and only 1 would go through per table?

15th position would in effect be a €3000 place in day 2 where as 16th would be a €300 refund

So with 15th being eliminated would he get the €300 with the extra cash going in to the prize pool or would he get zilch - interesting and quite possible scenario with short stacks being prepared to gamble knowing they can have another entry anyway

logically its the same as any other MTT?

the larger stack on simultaneous knockout gets the higher position?

What about if someone makes day 2 from a day 1 with a stack and plays 2a then busts, will the token still be in reserve to use for 2b?

Also this has probs already been answered but I'm too lazy to go back through the thread, what happens to unused tokens after the event? Refunded for cash or lost forever?
