Cheap tablet recommendation

Looking at getting a cheap tablet for my 6 year old to use, what would people recommend?

I got my little one (3) and 7" android from Ebay, 8gig about £50 can watch all films on their and play games..Battery tend to be really good 4-5hrs constent use.

Better off going to a pawn shop and getting an i pad. That's where I got mine for me twice and the wife.

What do you want your 6 year old to be able to do with it?

Play games and use the net, obviously don't want to get an ipad for him but want something that isn't going to break after a week
