pads cant you delegate this to someone at poker strategy?! a minion?

you want good compontents tis easy.

have used matrox boxes before was very clever but you can just have 2x the gfx cards and run lots of monitors. I personally have no problems with lots of monitors rather than 1 big one.

This is my setup, runs everything I can imagine absolutely fine...
I was told by the company that built it that an extra 8Gb although 'nice' just wouldn't make a noticeable difference.
Also said same thing about SSD, nice to have.. but essentially useless for what we 'need'. Just doesn't justify the ££.

Only problem I've had with it is on zoom tables, it just can't keep up.

Oh and I changed out the monitors and got these instead...

Hands down the best monitors I've ever seen (and that's a lot)
Would absolutely insist anyone get these if they can.

I have 3x 24inch monitors next to each other on a stand much like this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001NPEC5A/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

absolute business....

Whole thing looks like this.

An SSD is a must for anyone building a new PC for any reason.

Unless they're building a PC and want it to be slow of course.

1920x1200 is lovely. Anything more i imagine is much better pleno.

But with res, it makes all the tables appear smaller, which is only good if that res is accompanied by a big screen.

If 2560x1440 is for a 30' screen or above that should be awesome.

2560x1600 is the resolution you get on a 30 inch monitor.

You're a serious grinder Patrick. I can't understand why you don't splash out on a Dell 30 incher. Massively worth it if you play seriously online IMO.

Bought the iMac which has 27 inch screen
And bought thunderbolt display so basically 2 27inch
Side by side.

Then have normal laptop with 3 24 inch
Samsung monitors for anybody who wants to
Visit and grind.
