Any tips for this evening at Newmarket?
I'm heading there this evening and might have a few punts 😜

I usually go for horses carrying 8st 6lbs in the handicaps there.
If there are two or more I would suggest the one in red silks.
Hope you win plenty.

Great jockey Richard Hughes. Him and Ryan Moore way clear of the others the last few years imo.
Sure he'll crush as a trainer too.

Went down to the Tatts a couple of races ago. Seven runner race.
How can one bookie be pricing a horse at 15/2 that everyone else is 12/1? Must be the one without a laptop, who had missed the 14.5 on betfair!! Ink. Red.
Anyway, enough frivolity. Last race magic called for. Grumpy Angel, if you please.

4.45 Ripon In Pursuit 11/2 Boyles 5/1 general. Thought this was worth a look, mainly due to some very strong sire stats coupled with a yard in form. Lol sample size and all that, but sire's offspring stats as 2/3yo are 4 wins from 4 runs when stepped up to 12f. Should be fine on ground again based on sire stats.

Where are you getting your stats from? I thought it was interesting and just clicked down the list of Mafki's progency on teh sportinglife website to see if the other offspring's form went 84 or 11 before stepping up.
First one I found that had raced over 12 furlongs was this one
http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/profiles/horse/845804/quest-for-wonder
This filly has won 3/7, but lost both times (2/3 and 3/4) it has gone 12f and above. Obv lol sample size too, but if you are relying on the stat for this bet, it seems it isn't as stong as you thought. It may well still be strong stat though.
Obviously the race isn't that great and In Pursuit was staying on last time, so could easily win.

Quest for wonder did run over 12f on AW before its turf run, but the other 3 did win on first run over 12f. Flatstats is pretty accurate if you ask the correct questions, I was impressed that they had taken non runners into account with their draw stats, so draw 8 actually means 8 from the inside.

Had a rule 4 deduction on a race with PP but I have bet on the same race at the same time with Betfair, Bet365 and Betvictor and not had one.
Why would this be?
Is this ok or should I complain?

what price was the horse? Some firms won't deduct if it's a 5p rule 4

I dont know what that means sorry.
I bet at
18/1 with Bet365
18/1 BetVictor
16/1 PP
16/1 Betfair Sportsbook.
All within 30 minutes of each other at around 10pm last night.
Two horses withdrew at 8am this morning. (I think they were both 10/1 ish)
and only PP have deducted rule 4 and it says 15%.
