Would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on the 8.40 Kempton tonight . Quite keen to oppose King Calypso, and think Ssafa at 14-1 is a huge price relative to him.
Have backed Ssafa small e/w @ 14/1 though it's 22 on Betfair at the moment and will look to top up in the morning if the price drifts out further. Also backed Daaree win only at 4-1
Every possibility that I've got this very wrong, but 33-1 with Hills about Ssafa seems very generous to me.

The best racing podcast is back, a must listen

Never listened to them before, thanks for posting.
I like the Sporting Life one, because I like Ben Linfoot, but the FF one had a bit more content to it

This one was slightly dull because it was just Mullins horses
Expect the next one to be better

Really fancy Langham Lilly today in the 1610 at Southwell One in the notebook for me, and back on the all weather after a spell over timber, and ran well, could have found a nice oppurtunity to get its ehad in front.8/1, solid each way bet for me and only one of the week so far.

All weather? That must have been where I went wrong. :-)

An earlier cheltenham notebooker for me today
Urban Hymn even though beaten as fav jumped beautifully, looks a natural rsa/jewson a long way away but one ill be backing when prices/plans become clearer.

backed duke of navan, couldnt understand why urban hymn went off fav let alone the price it did considering their relative merits over hurdles- navan was a 2m horse, urban hymn a 3m hurdler. Agree it put in a nice round and thought it ran a great race to hold that close over two mile.
Would back urban hymn all races 2m 4f plus, looks a real trier aswell.
Tbh they way they battled on bth are worth following

I like Kellys Finest in the first at Donny.
Showed a massive improvement in its first time in a handicap and on softish ground at Catterick a fortnight ago.
Looks like it will appreciate the step up in trip too.
Is a bit weak on Betfair which is a bit of a concern, but I'll still throw a groat ew on it.

Pain.
20/1 shot gets withdrawn and I get screwed for the ew money.
Traded 1.5 in running, perhaps a mile was slightly beyond her.
Wouldn't have beaten the winner over any distance mind.

Was gonna post the exactly the same thing lol. tbf to him he scoops places all the time and he never runs a bad race, never a nontrier (hes only been beaten by more then 6 lengths one in 24 runnings), his style of running on late is just frustrating to follow.

Corals have Luke Morris at 7/2 to be allweather champ. Hes a class act on AW tracks but would ride a shetland pony if someone paid him so his strike rate is terrible. The thing is he rode 150 more times then his rival kirby last time and only 3 jockeys will ride enough to be competitive (morris, kirby, fanning- riding less then 400 would probably be unfeasable, fanning wont ride enough either imo). He can also ride off way lower then kirby.
Kirby is a worthy favourite just think its much closer to a match then morris a 7/2

Like elusivity in the 3.15 at doncaster @ 20/1 5places 1/4 with bet365. Been punished last year with grim mark and ran creditably, this year its marks steadily coming down and now looks on a mark to run a big race.
Hope 8 stay in the racing post trophy, because I think cock of the north is far too long on what its done. 33/1 1/4 with some

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Rajdhani Express and the 7/1 on BF has tempted me to give him another chance today.
I know he's a bit hit and miss but has looked pretty decent to me occasionally and my gut feeling is that there could be more to come.
