I've going to Chepstow Races on Saturday.

Any tips for the races would be greatfully received.

I had Blu Cavalier in the first and Moabit in the third a decent bit shorter than the current prices, both look decent bets to me. Have a good day!

Just bet diese des beiffes pretty big nrnb at 14/1 for both the coral cup and the martin pipe, if this animal isn't at least a stone in I don't know one that is. Can bash the ew on the day with better place terms. Win only for now

Read this a bit late Mr Hopkin - the answer was Noooooo - not firing on any cylinders and that seems to be the way for a lot of Herefordshire trained horses at the moment.

Brushed Up was meant to go for a hard run today to see if she will go in a Bumper in March, though I do not hold out much hope a she likes the soft.

All round pretty depressing for the horses that I am involved in - even my associates who have far better horses are struggling to get into the enclosure.

A bit like poker you are either way ahead or way behind.

Thanks for the tip on Moabit.  2 winners made for a healthy profit on the day.

Festival fever hitting boiling point now.

Biggest two positions are diese des bieffes for wherever he runs
And elegant escape for the 4miler with savers at 33/1 for the rsa.

Started to shortlist the handicaps now.

Didn't back getabird at 9/4 the other week, but the supreme looks really
Weak this year. Don't like Kalashnikov or Summerville (even though I'm on)
The one I'd bet now if forced at the prices would be paloma blue 16/1. But will prob be looking to bet
Getabird of it touches 2/1 anywhere

I've taken some 5/2 Un De Sceaux nrnb for The Ryanair with Fox Norton now out.

I'd be surprised if he didn't go off a fair bit shorter on the day.

Not too many sleeps now..

I've got a couple points on WP @ 13/2 NRNB & 1.5pts rolling over on the Ascot/Chelts double @ 16/1

That was a bad bet by me, and I should have just hovered then  lumped nrnb after he won.

See Willoughby Court now doubtful, which is annoying, as I have 2.5pts on him @ 12/1 any race.

5pts on If The Cap Fits @ 16/1 & 14/1 gone as well.

Hope there isn't much more carnage before the off!

Brushed Up running at Towcester tomorrow - its all a bit vague - either first or last - but Don Bersey won the other day - so some form starting to come, too late to rescue the season for the stables - but all the stables round me and there are quite a few have all had a bad season for no particular reason.

Roll on next year - reminder to self ignore any tips from trainers - listen to the stable folk.

Silviniaco Conti passed away today, after an accident in a team chase on Sunday.

What a lovely horse he was.

RIP
