I can totally understand not liking tea/coffee. I don't like tea much and only really drink coffee after a decent meal.

I believe it. We were given tea and coffee as children, but lots of people my age didn't give to their children. It wasn't really to stop them from ever drinking it; more in the belief that it isn't good for children but they will start drinking it when they get older. There are plenty of young adults now who never got around to trying it when they got older and aren't bothered about doing so.

But, when you were like 14,15,16 didn't you think.. "hmm, all the adult population of the UK drink it, let's try a cup to see what it's like"?

I would totally accept it if you tried it and didn't like it, but to have never tasted tea or coffee is just bizarre.

Dad made me a cup of tea when I was about 15 I smelt it, that was as close as it got. Know about 15+ people who have never tried coffee. Reckon there are people on this forum in the same boat!
