Is this some kind of hilarious practical joke?

He even threw in the fake speech play so you'll fold KKK. What a hero. Did you get his autograph?

Oh and fwiw (I don't play much deep PLO cash, only mtts) I think it seems optimistic to think he's gonna xr/call worse boats here, and I was surprised that you didn't bet the turn, doesn't make much sense to me.

I checked the turn so I cold raise his river lead, expecting ofc for him to have a 6 the vast majority of the time, after all the flops come J66 and I have 75% of the Jack's and the pots a limped 8 way pot (so he prolly doesn't have AA and would expect him to fold KK and QQ on the flop most of the time (obviously KK now a better hand but  you get the point) if he doesn't have a 6 then he prolly has nut flush draw so i'm just letting him hit that. I think to this guy if im on his level he thinks after i checked the turn I just had a random stab at the pot OTF - as daft as it prolly was I genuinely considered on the river that he might have been bluffing for the $2600 (obv not for the 15) I'm very surprised he didn't lead the river tbh if he did it would have gone 400 - 2k - 6k and i'd have been like WTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF and who knows what i would have done....

I think bet, chk, raise the lead is the bluffiest looking way to play the hand, bet bet bet into an 8way limped pot looks almost exactly like JJJ66 imo. I disagree with you gouty that I can't have the nuts by the river, the most common reason why I can't have the nuts is because he will have one of the 6's. If I checking the turn with J's full I could easily be checking with 6666, if we think he's capable of turning a naked 6 into a bluff trying to make me fold then folding the river was a big mistake considering I lose to 3 combinations and two are pretty unlikely.

People saying he never calls worse OTR, you might be right but you gotta factor in I'm young, with spikey hair and glasses and playing a bit mental for the last hour, has an older splashier player EVER folded a full house in that spot to someone like me getting 4-1 before? Bearing i mind after every successful c/r or triple barrel 4 out 5 older guys at the table will tell me i'm bluffing EVERY TIME (not being age-ist here Tikay, this is just how it is) people just never believe me!

I think as it happens I prolly should have just called though, after another few hours playing with him I think I gave him a lil disrespect OTR in that hand, and got punished for it. Farha got all my money anyways, so if anything I'm glad he took 3600 of it before the inevitable.

It was a great spot to discuss. Cheers LilD.

Deep PLO is fascinating. I think I nit up too much when I get deep tbh, so river decisions are few and far between. You da man.
