I'm pleased my boy is almost completely potty trained.... Maybe he'll teach his old man one day?

I'm pleased I get to do the job I love without HAVING to do the job I love because of on-line poker.

I'm pleased the job I love is 100% poker based.

I'm pleased I went to the dentist last Friday to finally get my mouth sorted out.  Despite the £900 bill, which I can only pay due to poker.

Apparently a lot of people are taking cheap flights to poland - having a few days there - getting their teeth done & it's working out much cheaper....

I don't fancy treking back to Warsaw if something goes wrong.  The whole job can't be done in one or two sessions either, more like 4 or 5 over the course of a month, to allow for healing, etc.  I'm sure it's a lovely place but a month in Poland doesn't appeal....

...Unless they have a card room?

Im very pleased today. My mum has been extremely unwell in hospital. she has lung cancer and after a year and a half battle against it, it grew again and cut off a major blood supply. today, she has had 2 operations which were a complete success. they have put a couple of tubes into the blood vessel and her windpipe and she can now breath easily. she  starts her chemo again on tuesday but today she is back to being sharp witted, funny and has lots of energy. im so pleased about that................

Now that, Mad, is something to be pleased about Smiley Great news!

Now what else am I pleased about?

Errmm, I start a new job in February. It's a promotion, more responsibility, and I get to work with a good friend, doing something I know I am good at and will enjoy.

I have some really good friends that I have really leaned on in the last week or so, and I am really pleased I have them, and I will try not to be such a needy cow in future Smiley

Hope everything goes well with your mum mad...

Im pleased I have five beautiful, amazing children who are considerate and compassionate  Smiley

Im pleased to have a further 15 nonhuman children who are equally as beautiful and amazing as their human siblings  Wink

I would be even more pleased if I could have another few human children, but apparently 5 is enough...  Sad Sad
