APAT Forum Team Championships - Genting Stoke, 1st & 2nd February 2014

Hi all,
I have registered an interest in entering a blonde team into this annual event.
Details are as follows (taken from APAT forum):
25 teams of 8 players each will compete for both a team and an individual prize pool in the Team Championship, which will consist of a 200-runner MTT (TBC).
Entry is £400+£40 per team, with the total buyins paid out on a 50/50 basis to the top 3 teams and the top 20 players from the MTT (TBC). This would be £55pp.
The top 100 players in the MTT will score points for their team with 1st=100pts down to 100th=1pt (TBC).
Teams are to provide their own matching-colour team shirts for their members for both days of the event – if desired, these are available from APAT at a cost of £15 per shirt and can be branded with the Team Name and player ‘name/nickname’ on the breast of both shirts.
This event has seen huge demand in previous years, and we are expecting similar interest for 2014. The event has also on occasion suffered from ‘team last minute dropouts’ in the past, and therefore for 2014 we will maintain a reserve list and require all successful teams to pay the entry fee in advance by 12:00 noon on Friday 17th January 2014. Any team failing to meet the buyin deadline will have their entry offered to teams on the reserve list. Any team that pays the full buyin and has a last minute need to drop out will have their entry offered to the next team on the reserve list and whichever team takes up this option will have their buyin used to reimburse the team that had to drop out (via APAT).
Further and full details of the event will be posted on the APAT Forum by 18th January 2014 at the latest.
So - who is interested?

How Blonde have never won this before is beyond me.
Get Tighty on the team to start with.
Then you want the best player in the Bedi household, don't stand for second best.
Kinboshi had won APAT gold before anyone knew how to play poker, so he must be good.
Get Ironside out of semi-retirement.
Tikay loves a good team event.
The rest of the teams won't know what hit them.

Happy to play if required, my current form is live events is terrible though (not expecting to get selected tbh).
If I don't get picked I will certainly be following the updates and supporting Blonde.

Nowt to do with me ofc but APAT regs should definitely get precedence for team selection imo.

They have one team, same as all other forums. Once or twice they have had more than one - but in the most recent events they had one forum team and one team which was their team league winner.

I've just noticed above that the entry fee has to be paid in advance.
Whomever is picked as captain (i'm certainly not appointing myself after last year's argument!) will have to arrange the payment of this and source monies from all other players.
I would assume that if someone is chosen, pays up then cannot make it, that person would be refunded personally by their replacement. I would also assume that blonde as a company would not be expected to cover this.

Why? It's a blonde team. Apat will have their own team.
