A look at the ages of some of the Wigan players who spanked Salford tonight:

Powell 21
Manfredi 18
Williams 19
Burgess 19
Sarginson 20
Sutton 20
Hampshire 19
Bateman 20
Gelling 23
Smith 26
Crosby 23
Dudson 23
McIllorum 26
Hughes 22
Goulding 26

Amazing from such a young group, although I want to see Manfredi's birth certificate Cheesy

28 years ago I travelled to Central Park by train with my brother and old man. Who would have thought that Wigan would not lose another game at home in the challenge cup for 28 years. When Cas are prefixed with Classy, it's usually time to book tickets for the final. The defence today was outstanding and Powell knows a thing about upsetting Wigan. Superb stuff.

Wemberrrrley, wem....... (As long as we leave Leeds until the final)

Wigan were second best today by a long way. No inventiveness in the halves, no drive from the forwards to create a platform  too many injured or non-match fit players in the side, and Cas were stronger across the board.

Wane has been excellent, but made some wrong decisions yesterday in both selection and tactics.

Hope Cas go on to the final and win it. A good side who are playing well for the coach. Thought Dorn was the outstanding player yesterday as well, but the whole side were good.
