Big $11. ITM. 378 remaining. 1170 paid. $13K FTW.

villain is 20/13, I'm 14/10

Is this too tight? what is best line here with villains stack size?

Wp. His range is too strong. Barring some sort of read, a fold is fine. There will be players I'd be ecstatic to put it in against, especially in the big 11.

yeah he's already put 3bb in! I don't think we have any fold equity when he 3x's MP, also think he hardly ever does this with 66 down, so were hoping for a flip were he's most likely gonna turn up with 10's/J's as he didn't want to get peeled and see an over so 3x'd it! I agree with picken nice fold.

Disagree we don't have fold equity. There are plenty of fish out there who will 3x fold a bunch off of 15bb in this spot. You really have to know you're villain. On the french sites readless i'd be sticking it in 100% unless i have reason not to, but on .com i'd be folding readless for stack preservation as it's going to be easy to pick up chips in less high-variance spots and you'll get less folds. Probs flipping a large % of the time, rarely get called by worse, but people do fold some %.

You love pairs more than anyone I know. Surely we make too many mistakes post for it to be great. How do you react on q9x k22 jtx j8x etc?

One with a 7 on it, not loving it if undercards come and the guy go sick on it. Keep the fold pre line.

I would jam pre as standard, randoms just r/f here way too much incorrectly and just make too much money imo. There will be an absolute ton of good flops for us, i prob go with it 100% on any Txx where x = <T and good J high flops like J23 etc. The OP is very vague, would like to know whether 3x was his standard etc. Also in a tourney like the big11 just so much money up top and with still 400 people left gona be taking a few marginal spots to try build a big stack.

So yea, cliffs: I would jam pre, dont think calling and gii on good flops is bad though, think folding is kinda meh.

and also, pairs <3
