Ok what exactly is a brisket? Hear about it all the time on the Big bang theory, sounds nice, is it a big chunk of cheap beef that needs slow cooking?

Yes, its one of the cheaper cuts, kind of the beef version of breast of lamb or belly pork, but it's defiantly the tastiest.
Usually comes in a tied 'roast' and has a good amount of nice yellow fat running through it, if you catch the juices they make the best gravy
ever.I think the Americans barbecue or pot roast it, then shred the meat like pulled pork.

Morrison's actually do great brisket, and you can ask them to cut you a piece if you want a bigger/leaner bit than whats on display.
