I'm still pretty sure you won't be up there.

This thread tilts me the most cos of Irons zzzzz small club we will be ok posts

I can cope with that, even though he repeats it endlessly. S'oton fans don't often enjoy these giddy heights, so good luck to Iron, & them.

What I do struggle a little with, every time I open the Betting Boards, is this.....

koeman is a saint

I would so prefer......

Koeman is a Saint

I feel a little for rickie lambert, in the summer he signed for the only team IMHO he would leave the saints for, but now faces prospect of losing a place in squad of  25 at Liverpool and being offloaded to west brom or crystal palace. Must be hard to be at the peak of your career suddenly to get a dream move and for it to fall flat.

Think he will struggle to get another England cap too.

Don't feel sorry for him - he had a chance playing for the club he supports for a truck-load of money! We haven't played him enough IMO (he should never be behind Borini in the pecking order ffs). He'd have left for any top 4 club also  thumbs up

Generally, I've never been a fan of England picking players who aren't starting for their teams, and would always prefer them giving the chance to an in-form player who's scoring regularly.

pelle, schneiderlin and davis rested for tonight's replay

pelle and davis on bench

hope schneiderlin is just rested and he hasnt picked up a knock or even worse a bid been made on him

seems a reasonable line up lets hope the team and can produce enough quailty

Professional from saints but that was a waste of an evening.  Ipswich abysmal.  Awful match.

Gary Neville: The era of the gaffer is over

Southampton's incredible rise has destroyed the traditional model of a football club – we're now in the age of the technical director
