Quiz is at the right level IMO; it's not supposed to be The Chase. Gets harder as the rounds progress and noticeably so. I finish the quiz smiling every week: it's good to be tested properly and, if you get one right, engage smug mode.

In general I would agree but I can't help but think this series has been noticeably harder. Having done some research it would appear that the question editor left at the end of the last series and they have new people doing it.

Hard questions is one thing but when the answer is revealed people should be going "Aaahhh!" rather than "How was I ever supposed to get that?"

Def sort the wall out in advance, announced it's done (with however dramatic a tone as befits the occasion) and give everyone a day or two's notice to have their pencils sharpened.

Post the wall in the same thread (this one? Another?) at reveal o'clock. Everyone PMs answers and the tie break is who sends theirs in first?

Option to do easy/medium/hard/final level ones simultaneously?

Oooh this has potential!

Will switch my mind to fiendish and have a look at this today. Sure I can come up with something suitable and will try and stay away from Chemistry as I'm on a well-earned break!

Austin?

You'll have to explain that one.

I got it from 'glossary of golf' on wikipedia. i'm hoping it's just obscure rather than made up.

Sorry, but it looks made up to me, any ball anywhere could lay claim to being an 'Austin' surely?
