isn't that an ok reason to limp?

how much did they both have? could we jam?

surely on a big FT like this one you're way better off just taking the pot down when each chip has such a high value? Also C-Bet's are likely to get a lot more credit here so when the BB does peel that's still fine - I remember one hand on the FT when Jake opens the BTN with 22, Kevin calls the SB  (idr his cards) and the BB called, flop was A85 or something similar and the BB folded 89 to a c-bet from Jake.

Wasn't it Vanessa Rousso who coined the term "aggressive call"?

Jake is the new Vanessa obv.

this might just be the first hand i've openly discussed with anyone, tx will lol

i pretty much watched all of the live stream & admired kevin's grit & determination, nursing a short stack for at least a day or two,

when the hand in question came up i remember being surprised that it looked like jake was leaning towards a call & my thoughts were just that kevin just wouldn't get it in too light on such a big stage with so much at stake - were the call made by a younger up & coming player i wouldn't be as surprised, you gotta gamble sometimes right, but as kevin & jake have both closed one out before they know how hard it is to get to this point & neither, in my eyes, was going to get it in too light for their tournament life.

jake, there's no doubt you're a world class player whom i & many, many others admire - it'd be great to see you there again sometime soon!
