WTF is going on at BMU?

I noticed a new greyhounds game on the home page of BMU where they are showing old races from the Stow (rubbing it in that the family closed it down no doubt).

You just gamble on the numbers basically - there is no form.

But look at how they bet:

2/1
3/1
8/1
10/1
16/1
20/1

Now either:

They are giving money if it is truly random.

Or the game is fixed.

What do you think?

That is truly laughable on so many levels.  I actually hope for them that they have just screwed up with the overround because the "we'll put the winner in at 2/1 (and occasionally 3/1) and hope they don't notice" scenario is too much for my mind to process.
