Flopping sets for fun.

Got full double on J822 vs 23 with 88

Lost a few back vs wadey the following hand on Kxxxx with QQ vs his KT but still sitting on a little above 200k. 28 left, 1.5/3k(500)

Ha cheers Tongue

Last hand before break Wadey (has the absolute world and is opening tonnes including 84os in EP) opens LJ, I defend A6. He 3 barrels Kx6c5cAcTx run out. Kinda hate my life on river but end up calling he has T7cc Sad

140k still above average.

Gg Sad

Pretty gross spot. Open AhKs from 20bbs 100k. UTG+1 peels. . We check, he bets 13k. Turn two spades, we check, he bets 25k. I strongly thought about folding. If it wasn't for a hand he played vs Wadey where they both went ballistic and neither seemed to have it, I would have been more inclined to fold. If I had the it might have edged it as well. I ended up going with it and am drawing dead vs JQcc.

I think we can definitely fold and I feel kinda sick that I nearly did but didn't and am out. On the other hand its a tough spot and we're towards the top of our range so I'm not sure exactly how difficult it is to fold there.

Was thinking about this hand all the way home. The more I drove the more it felt like a mistake. I also wonder if jamming turn is a worse option than calling because I'm struggling to find a hand that it makes sense to do this against, I just was worried about leaving myself with a gross river decision on lots of difficult river cards.

We are 7 handed and so his peel is from the lojack. He called very quickly preflop, so I think we can rule out hands that he would at least consider 3 betting, especially as I have a 20bb stack. If we make this assumption I feel like this takes TT out of his range and AK as well which was another possibility. We probably lose AQdd too. It also means we're not worried about AA/KK.

So we can peg his value range that beats us down to 99, JQs and perhaps KTs.

With ~58k in the pot on the turn and us having 80k behind I estimate we need 38-40% equity to make a jam reasonable.

Looking at the figures we are essentially relying on him peeling KQos and betting like this with half of the combos, or assign him 6 combos of hands that have similar equity, for example JTs, QTs, AQ. I think these hands are unlikely as they would probs check back flop and/or turn but I'm not sure we can rule out 6 combos of bluffs and have to consider that he might play KQos like this.

Board: KcTd9d2s
   Equity   Win   Tie
MP2   39.49%   39.49%   0.00%   { AhKs }
MP3   60.51%   60.51%   0.00%   { 99, KTs, QJs, KdQd, AdJd, KdJd, KdQh, KdQs, KdQc, KhQs, KhQc, KsQc }

If we remove our read on the not considering 3betting it's a bit worse, but perhaps some other combos could make it in here.

Board: KcTd9d2s
   Equity   Win   Tie
MP2   36.71%   30.63%   6.08%   { AhKs }
MP3   63.29%   57.21%   6.08%   { TT-99, AKs, KTs, QJs, AdQd, KdQd, AdJd, KdJd, AdKh, AcKd, KdQh, KdQs, KdQc, KhQs, KhQc, KsQc }

I guess I haven't included provisions for him having QJos or KJos but I feel like they are unlikely.

So I guess the conclusion is that it's very close assuming I'm not talking nonsense and am using Equilab correctly.

But felt like I ignored my gut instinct of this one so looking into it hasn't made me feel all that much better.

Or I could just blame Tikay.
