i am disapointed i havent played 1000 games yet was thinking i would be playing 3000 in a month
but the scheduled events hog the time and unless you get a top 3 in one of them they aint that good for profit

Tight is right in o8 Iron, whether plo8 or nlo8.

The main differences between the two are that with 12-20bb in nlo8 we can profitably jam hands that would be a bit trickier to play in plo8, hands like aqj5ss from the HJ in plo8 might be a fold for 20bb whereas we can just rip it in in the NLO8 stuff. I dont think your ranges should change too dramatically between the two. Judging how your opponents play is one of the harder things, most regulars you can fold many hands too, but the fish tend to be absolutely bananas, so sometimes you just have to call off these huge shoves. I lost a big pot to 9875r on sunday in the 82 o8, but I didn't recognise the guy so calling off A23Jds (i think) felt correct for 28bb.

If the 8 was a 2 you couldn't pay me to fold but o8 is a funny game and I wouldn't be particularly happy flicking it in here. Get ppt out and found out though!

Quantum is  weird guy, good at the game though, just a bit bananas, particularly him and Billy g

I never fold AA with any low.  I don't want to find out it is bad even if it is.  I have folded AA with High cards before.  Biood would never fold it and he will tell you he is the boss now bokkie doesn't play so much.

i did hate myself when i did it especially when i would of scoop with tens full of aces and we would of got past the bubble
but as it happened we moved on still 6 handed

i just couldnt see a way to win surely all the aces would be out so we are looking for 1 pair winning hands 4 handed there isnt many boards 1 pair can win
we have one flush draw and can only make 1 straight we rarely win the low and if we do win the low we aren't winning the high
i can see a reason for calling if its just shorty and 1 other but 2 others i think we are in trouble

remember we are 1/6 at start of hand and likely to still be 1/6 2/5 2/4 after the hand and still with healthy stack to apply pressure and win
calling and losing will put the pressure on us

i haven't got software to put in ranges and that can sort of the split pots

the only hand that shocked me was murd's i would of likely played the other 2 the same
and if murd had folded i would of called

I don't think putting in one of the worst hands for you is a better way of looking at it.  People do play terribly all the way up the levels.  I think if you want to look at ranges, get rid of the short stack (he isn't ever damaging you) and assume this kind of thing.

http://www.propokertools.com/simulations/show?g=o8&h1=Ahaskh8c&h2=A2%2A%2C+a3%2A%2CAk%2A%2C+kk%2A%2C+Aa%2A&h3=A2%2A%2C+a3%2A%2C+Ak%2A%2C+Kk%2A%2C+Aa%2A&s=generic

Under that something like 50% of the time you find yourself 4th or 5th.  But 25% of the time you are locked for 1st and the rest you'd struggle to miss 2nd.

You could probably adjust for people just going loopy by adding 55** to their ranges.

Edit.  That still makes you 50% or so to go 4th or 5th.  I think it is fair to assume biood never has a spew hand.

Ok I am already tucked up in bed for the night and out tomorrow so I am going to this chapter of my diary with the final sharkscope tomorrow.

I will then reduce my roll to $300 to start the new year and the new chapter
At the end of each month I will either add money to the account to reach 300$ or withdraw 50% of any profit on the month hopefully I will do the later more often than the former and hopefully this time next year I will have moved up in cost of buy ins

my viewing pleasure over the last month has been elementary, NFL and the equalizer TV series.

i have now finished the equalizer and i am upto date with elementary so i am going to start of the new year

with one of these options of tv series of which have watch before but not in order and not every episode

highlander
tour of duty
the a team
knightrider
new tricks
hustle
taxi
las vegas (although i certain i have seen all of this in order i an not sure)

along side which i will catch up on criminal minds i am at the start of season 9

i also still have frasier and west wing to watch i have the box sets but not seen a single show

the poker shows a near $200 loss but having used fpp's it does seem to have made a dent in the roll and the spin and goes i am up about 250$ i guess if it wasnt for the lucky 2 spins of $600 games i would be down in them too

going to start off the new year just playing the 3.5$ sng omaha8 and 45 nan holdem and unless my roll gets to 700$ i will only play them

i will post sharkscopes weekly and put my daily roll count in my sig

if anyone wants to recommend stuff for me to view please feel free to let me know
