Should have probably rounded up, rather than down...

Why don't you get a sterling account on Stars, then there's no need to convert.

You can send £102 or whatever without having to find out the exchange rate.

i only play micro tourneys for fun once in a while. everything in lobby is laid out in dollar format, ie big $8.80 ,sunday storm $11, $3 rebuy etc.

seems convenient to have a dollar account. what would i gain from having a sterling account? not being rude but i genuinely dont get what your point is.

i typed in £100 and stars equated that to $152 so i sent $155.

marky i just sent you another $5 , you helped me out twice now and although its peanuts, i would prefer it if i had sent a few more peanuts than a few less peanuts

i keep my money in $'s but also have a £ account, if i am depositing or withdrawing i move money into £ account this is at spot i thien dont lose any money on conversion

its simple to move between £ and $ in the client

you dont have to get a sterling acc as such, you can just convert £100 from dollars and send that without having to worry about working out the coversion. it really isnt that much of a hassle though!

Haha, I thought you had sent me too much, so I wouldn't worry about it Cheesy

Keith was only trying to be helpful, though.

You can change money in the cashier Smiley

Get the £ account and link it to your debit card, then you can deposit and withdraw in £, and then switch those £s to another currency in the Stars cashier (I think these conversions within stars are always spot?).
