It was always a poor Hilton like most of the old converted Stakis hotels of the 80/90s when they sold out to Hilton/Ladbrokes at the time.  Not quite sure it was bad enough to be a prem inn.  Just googled Bournemouth Hilton and they are building a brand new Hilton due to open at the end of 2015.  Certainly looks an upgrade on the old place.

Ahh the good old days........first one I went to was some little casino below the Norfolk Hotel on Richmond Hill....free food and twelve and a half pence chips for roulette  Smiley

First one I went to was in 1988, The Victory, long gone now.  Always was the Victory, Curzon, Norfolk and the Royal Bath.  Think its just Gala and Curzon now.
