Format is king in tv land

And in a country full of garrulous boorish men,  people like clarkson would do well to remember just how commonplace and replaceable they are.

Jeremy Clarkson's Twitter Page Profile;

I am probably a presenter on the BBC2 motoring show,Top Gear.

He seems fairly relaxed about the whole thing, & no wonder, he's amazingly marketable, & earns a good few bob one way & another. His next book will doubtless sell extra copies after the fracas, too.

His celeb value has probably increased as a result of the whole thing, & there won't be many days when his name does not appear in the red tops whether he gets the tin tack or not.  He's bulletproof.

If they find the right person it could be Gary Neville to Andy Gray. Clarkson is outdated and IMHO not actually that good at his job any more, which is the whole reason he got involved in the first place. How power corrupts.

Maybe they'll make Top Gear about cars with the next presenter.

Hall: "accompanied by sustained and prolonged verbal abuse of an extreme nature. For me a line has been crossed."

Tony Hall: "I have asked Kim Shillinglaw to look at how we put out the last progs in current series."

BBC says it will look to renew Top Gear for 2016 but "it will be a big challenge and there is no point pretending otherwise"
