Despite my misgivings about the format I am enjoying my first game at DTD since according to the desk 2012 Smiley

Could be worthy of a "funk for Cf" thread. Winning an xxl > Winning a stupid bracelet in Vegas.

Haha. Just doubled with AJ AIPF against AK. Undoes the hand that halved me.

Feels very odd having this many chips so early.

I busted the hand after the bubble Sad

Structure felt very naff. The usual too many chips early doors and no-one getting knocked out and then 20 minute blinds catching up scenario that i dislike.

The structure normally brings a few complaints, but to be fair for a £30 buy in with £3k up top in one night I think there's no room to moan. Just my opinion.

Average spend on Saturday was £62, doubtful many people managed to cash without taking at least one reload.
Potential spend is £80, twice...

DTD are stuck trying to please people who want to play for £10, to people who want to play for £100. They could run separate comps, but they would rather run one big comp and have a decent guarantee. So this is what they choose to do, and it seems fair enough to me.
