It was only supposed to be a reasonable summation of the man, I didn’t think it would be interesting, it’s not much more than a list of the shortcomings of an abysmal human being.

Shortcomings? He is a potential PM, whereas you just chase turds around London, I don’t think he’ll be much worried about your assessment of him 

I won’t labour this one but maybe one more go. Becoming an MP doesn’t require you to have ever been good anything. If Conservative MP’s and 170,000 members make him PM we have still learnt nothing about the character of the man. He is just an abysmal human being. Just a shit, pathetic and terrible liar, not even close to being good enough to avoid getting caught. Being caught out as an inveterate liar would be a negative in any other field.

This thread promised so much in it’s early days and then, somehow, 17.4MM citizens fcked it up. All the racists and the homophobes and the old and mad and simple all got together and voted to leave the EU. You’d have thought that all the smart educated caring inclusive types would have found a way to get their message across. Them being so much smarter and the debate being all about words and facts and not a fight to be had. But they didn’t do that did they?
The trouble is that the smart, educated caring bunch couldn’t accept that they had failed in their task. It obviously wasn’t their fault though. They told us to vote to remain and they were so obviously right that for us to vote otherwise must mean that we’re too stupid to listen.
Since June 2016 this thread has deteriorated into a cycle of repetitive arguments. Which is fun sometimes, in short bursts. But it’s never, as Tikay might say, “very fun”.

You can’t tar the vast majority of the the 52% with the same brush as the extremists that vote for far right, Tommy Robinson style parties.

Whilst the extremists will have voted for Brexit, you cannot equate the two views overall as the same.

Those extreme views are not held by the overwhelming majority of Brexit voters.

I’m not saying that they are, they might be less than 1%, what I am saying is that for all practical purposes (do we have a method of measurement?) all of the racists are on one side of this argument. All of the racists are proudly Brexit. Shall we try and find one who opposes Brexit? Name one racist who opposes Brexit.

Do you really not understand? It’s so so simple. Let’s try and make it easier. Let’s imagine there are 17.4 million people who voted Brexit and less than 17.4 million people who are racists in total. You actually get to pick any number you like that is smaller than 17.4 million and it should help you understand (there are lots to pick from).

In reality the total number of who are racists is probably quite small (in the context of 17.4m,) none of us know how many but it will be a small proportion.

It's so so simple...let's try and make it easier.

"All of the racists are proudly Brexit. Shall we try and find one who opposes Brexit? Name one racist who opposes Brexit" is an example of classic idiotic pigeonhole behaviour.
