Latest YouGov still has LAB with a double digit deficit

 CON 40 LAB 29 LD 7 UKIP 13 OTH 11

Its scary to think 29% of our population would vote for an imploding, shambolic party.

They are struggling to get through a leadership vote, can you imagine them running the country?

They couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Scarier to think that 52% voted for Brexit.

Serious question.

How do you resolve the leadership vote?   From where I sit, the piss up in a brewery seems a far easier task.

Who do you expect them to vote for?   If you abstain or vote lib dem, you get conservative?   I don't think this is easy either.   I am leaning towards just accepting that will happen rather than voting for that shower who have taken over the labour party.  Given the brexit vote it is pretty crucial we have an effective opposition right now.  Do we really want to be discussing after work drinks whilst our borders are closed and our economy ruined?

Getting that effective oppposition is going to be a lot more difficult than handing a few beers round (see question 1).

I have no idea how they will resolve the leadership vote.

It's one horrendous mess, given Corbyn will win, can't see a way out other than a new left of centre party?

We need an effective opposition but we won't see it any time soon which is not good for our democracy.

Having watched the Labour Question Time debate just now I have to say that Owen Smith must be the least impressive politician I've ever seen. Completely vacuous in every regard he made Corbyn appear positively Churchillian.

A Vote Leave figure said they knew "Australian-style points-based system" was bogus, but it tested brilliantly.
