There must be a good chance that Theresa May will be Prime Minister by next Thursday, if she gets commanding lead among MPs

New Opinium poll: 7% of Leavers regret the way they voted, 3% of Remainers do. That would wipe out Brexit's majority.

(personally, i thought 7% was quite low) (all hypothetical anyway)

And if my auntie had bollocks etc.

I'm more surprised that even through all this one way traffic of single opinion 3% are going the other way.

McDonnell: I'm a critic of UK financial services, but sector tax revenue tops £66bn. Job losses & relocations won't just affect "fat cats"

Labour Party gains 60,000 new members in one week following attempted coup against Corbyn

total membership is was c400,000

(assuming there is a leadership contest to go to the members at some stage, the crucial thing will be how these 60k split...joining up to support Corbyn or joining up to get rid of him?)

Have to agree, 3% going other way makes it look utter tosh. Unless it was DC and his staff Wink

Osborne abandons surplus target of 2020 blaming brexit, Alistair Campbell would be proud of that one.

its true though? lower path of growth = lower tax revenue for starters.

nothing to do with spin, as carney said yesterday its an event shock that renders all previous forecasts moot.
