I'm pretty sure it's the "without a plan" part that he's particularly wishing ill on rather than the "Brexit" part.

(obviously that's even if you want to deliberately ignore the difference between the same statement placed in a religious context rather than a secular one).

Was this guy elected, I genuinely don't know?

Tusk was voted in, each country got a vote. The UK and 26 others voted for him, only Poland didn't AIUI.

Lot of talk of hell and devil stuff from our Euro pals lately

Time to stop the spending on HS2 before it’s too late.

https://www.spectator.co.uk/2019/02/is-the-financial-logic-behind-hs2-collapsing/amp/

Whoever conceived this idea should find themselves sitting next to Tusk’s Targets.

Sae this on Twitter. No idea if fake news, or scare-mongering, but a bit scary. If true.

Huffington Post has an interesting report on the 130+ demands US business is making for a deal with post-Brexit UK.  They include changing how NHS chiefs buy drugs in order to suit US pharma companies, and scrapping our safety-first approach to food standards

The NHS is super smart when it comes to buying drugs, prices in the UK are very often lower than can be sold in many other countries. I was in a meeting yesterday where we found out what their current strategy for a couple of types of drugs, if Pharma co’s did what the NHS has started to do recently the industry would probably be accused of price fixing.

The food standards thing has been reported before.  eg https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/trump-uk-must-bin-unjustified-food-standards-for-brexit-trade-deal-2018-10.  What did people expect to happen?   Trump didn't stand on a platforn of making the UK great again or increasing US regulation.

Goes back to the point I keep making. There will be companies everywhere shifting themselves they they will lose our business too. You don't just go Its only Brexit, we will lose the UK income but customers like that grow on trees. No. They will be expecting to sharpen pencils as we may renegotiate too.

It ain't a one way street remember.

Saw on twitter that 'Brillo' is retiring in the summer and this week is being axed as they don't want to run it with a new presenter because its 'Brillo's' show effectively.  Very sad day losing the great man from the bbc.
