Can't be/do much worse than what we've had to endure for the last 20 odd years.
Would like to see Wenger take the reigns when he's finally done with Arsenal, whenever that is.

They can have him in 2025, & not before.

hopefully he will pick irrespective of "name" and "reputation" and on form. Hodgson had a real weakness for picking names from big teams
eg Noble was 5/1 yesterday with betfair to be in his first squad, which i thought was a big price

As early as that?
Ps, was out on the sauce in stunningly beautiful Filey last night with Jackson and Hendrik, they send their regards

That sounds like a good night - give them both my best regards, please.
Sadly, Paul Jackson (NTPP) has closed his Diary, which I think is rather sad.

Agree. I think part of Hodgson's behaviour was from his complete failure with Liverpool. It was as if he was desperate to prove that he could manage players from the bigger teams and prove everyone wrong.

That might have been mentioned a few times last night
we all miss his ''self ego boosting drivel''.
Back on topic, I bet Pep is gutted he won't get to pit his wits against ''the big Sam'' on the opening day. As tighty touched on, at least we should have a manager who picks on merit and form and not reputation or who you play for.

I love big sam for the job, makes a nice change from the past decade or so.
He does remind me of Mike Bassett as well.
