There was the most surreal heads up finale to Colossus, and if you can find it on You Tube or somewhere, it'll be worth the effort.
It was J-J v A-9, & when the Ace rivered, BOTH players thought they had won. (The Jacks of Keeline four flushed it).
Horak, who had the A-9, did not realise, & ran to his rail, hugging & embracing his supporters, & at least one body tumbled over the rail in excitement.
It was some moments before Horak realised he had been beaten.

Final numbers for Event 8: $1,500 HORSE

201 made it to day 2
"The apparent chip leader after this opening day of action is Japanese bracelet winner Naoya Kihara with 85,900 in chips from a starting stack of 7,500. His bracelet came in 2012 in a $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Event, for $512,029.
Close contenders for chip leader at the end of the day were Danny Wong (78,500), Ron Ware (77,800), Esther Taylor-Brady (75,000), and Nick Kost (72,900).
Other notables still in the field include double bracelet winner from 2015 Brian Hastings, 2008 $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. winner Scotty Nguyen, Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton, and World Series of Poker broadcaster Norman Chad.
Also advancing to Day 2 (in no particular order) are Brandon Cantu, Greg Raymer, WSOP APAC Champ Scotty Abrams, Maria Ho, Bill Chen, Jimmy Fricke, Justin Bonomo, Rep Porter, Dan Heimiller, and a host of other bracelet winners and big names."

He's an incredibly talented mixed game player. I'd say he could be this year's Adam Owen, but that'd be doing him a disservice as he already has a bracelet! He plays as RunGodlike on PokerStars. Won a SCOOP this year I believe. Almost (almost) picked him as a wildcard for the WSOP fantasy game, but with only two spots he got squeezed out.

Interesting read Tony. I'm with you about Ferguson but I guess for those who had significant money on full tilt you can't blame them for being angry about the whole saga

Yeah, I completely get that George, I really do.
I just think there comes a time to move on, & maybe show a little forgiveness, if not forgetness.
Nobody died, it's poker, & inherently full of risks.
Of course it was a bad do, no arguments, but do we all want to spend the rest of our lives being angry & snarly? Not me, I'll pass on that.
