Event #20: $10,000 Seven Card Razz Championship

45 of 100 remain at the end of the day

the blurb reads "David Benyamine leads 45 survivors" which reads like a long mislaid episode of Lost.

Anyway, he leads

this event is full of names and stories

"Phil Hellmuth is the all-time leader on that list with 14, and he's also the defending champion of this Razz Championship. Hellmuth joined right at the tail end of the registration period, and he wasted no time building a formidable stack. He finished the day with 319,000 chips, good for second place on the overnight leaderboard."

"Jason Mercier is another man who's had his fair share of WSOP success, winning his fourth gold bracelet earlier today in the $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship. Mercier took just a short break to celebrate before hopping in this follow-up Championship event, and he too had a productive day. The decorated Florida pro ended with an above-average stack of 144,000 chips."

"Others who advanced through the day include Brian Hastings (251,000), Aleksandr Denisov (223,500), Mike Gorodinsky (145,000), Erik Seidel (143,000), Howard Lederer (43,000), and George Danzer (39,500)"

one Brit still in it

Owen? Ashton? Chufty? Rutter?

no its him again, stevie444 in 31st overnight

well done suzanne and redsimon

(if only it were real money...)

"Big win for the Stakers overnight, with Simon Brooke and Suzanne Hayward leading the way with a big share of bracelet winner, Jason Mercier. Play along. It's free and the ten most profitable stakers win stuff at every event. www.staker.co.uk
