I loved the bit where Glaser was described as the worst pick of the entire draft.  They mentioned that in the commentary today too.  Even though they are so short, I wouldn't be in a rush to lay odds against on Glaser here.  If Trelski was still in it would be different.

What is with the Mercier service dog thing?  Sat at a table with him last year and he managed to play better than me without any need for the dog.  Or is it a 2 bracelet perk?  3 bracelets and you can bring your 2 kids in and they show finding dory on the screens?

"After a long day of action and some intense competition, just three players remain in the hunt for the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo bracelet. Benny Glaser leads the trio and is in search of his second bracelet both of the summer and in this particular game, having already won the $1,500 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo event last week. He will be back on Wednesday at 2 pm along with Matt Glantz and Doug Lorgeree to play down to a winner."

Doug Lorgeree - 3,095,000
Benny Glaser - 3,225,000
Matt Glantz - 1,850,000

good luck again to Benny, looked very impressive on the stream today and a second bracelet for him and the Brits would be great news

Lorgeree was down to 1bb with 9 or 10 left

Hand for hand in the 5k six max. 83 left with 82 paid.

Stephen Chidwick is to the right of Joe Hachem. Hachem asks if everyone wants to do a saver. That joke literally never gets old.

While the Silver Rogue is getting Trelski signed up to blonde, may as well get Benny too

Sitting enjoying a Starbucks while the WSOP passes you by is a treasured past time. You get the usual slew of "I was thrashing my table and then I lost all my chips" tales, the odd "I'm completely out of my league against these wizards" and, once in a while, an "I'm just loving this whole experience".

Rarely do you see one of the well known, established pros, say a word. Perhaps they know they're liable to be overheard. Perhaps it's that they're just processing all the information from the last 2 hours. Perhaps they're just miserable.

I'm only half way through my cup of tea and I'm into double figures on "so the flop came...", although that was a 1/33 shot anyway.

I particularly enjoy the ones in foreign languages. Sometimes you can pick something up that gives you a sense of what's being discussed. Let's face it: most of these conversations are going to be the same as the ones in English. It does make me feel a bit of a Peter O'Hanran-Hanrahan, mind.

Well, the people who were heading right to left are now making their way past me again, reinvigorated, refocused and refreshed. Puzzled faces replaced with game faces. Crises with opportunities. Mistakes with lessons.

Then a woman in a shark onesie shlomps past and punctures the wistful air. She's followed by a couple rowing over which pizza supplier is better (mate, if your missus says it's Domino's, it's Domino's). Oh and a young man zooms past on a mobility scooter he's rented because walking is not what balla people do and he can record the trip way more easily this way on his iPhone.

All that for the price of a cup of tea. Why would you spend an hour any other way?

Glaser's first cash at the wsop was last year.  He has cashed in 6 events now, of which he has won 3.  Some conversion rate.

as already discussed

Event #32: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship

Benny Glaser won his second bracelet of the series and third overall for the UK

Extract from the post torunament blurb

"Glaser’s victory now gives him two wins for the series in Omaha High-Low Split.  He previously won the $1,500 buy-in event, which concluded a week earlier.  Glaser joined Tom Schneider (HORSE) and Greg Mueller (Limit Hold’em).

“It’s surprising that I would win two gold bracelets, at all,” Glaser confided.  “But if I was going to win, it would have been in this game since this is my best game and the one I have played the most online.”

When asked about what makes Omaha his best game, Glaser replied: “I think it’s the one game that plays closest to a cash game as a tournament.  Definitely, some adjustments need to be made.  But these limit games are more like I am used to in day to day.”

As for Mercier’s influence on the final table, Glaser stated he gave some consideration to the fact that his opponent was more likely to be playing for first place, which meant he might take more chances at the final table in order to accumulate chips.  Still, Glaser dismissed that as having much influence on his game.

“The stack sizes and situations pretty much played themselves, regardless,” Glaser said.

Incredibly, although Glaser has cashed just six times in WSOP events, all since the start of 2015 -- four of the six in-the-money finishes resulted in final table appearances.  And, three of the six ended as victories.  That’s as high a ratio as anyone with so few cashes and so many wins."
