One member of Trump's inner-most circle who hasn't had the attention he should is Stephen Miller. Miller worked for Jeff Sessions for several years and then became a leading light of the campaign, writing most of Trump's speeches, including the Convention speech, and co-writing the Inauguration speech with Bannon. The two of them are also understood to be the architects of the travel restrictions.

Until now, Miller was mainly seen looking over Trump's shoulder as he signed Executive Orders but they decided to let him go on several of the Sunday shows this week. He didn't hold back and has immediately been added to the Bannon/Conway/Spicer/Trump cabal of truth-bending extremists. Of course, he was already one of them; just the public didn't know him. Well they know him now - he gave a typical Trump/Spicer, etc display of angry nonsense, shocking the sane part of the media (you'd think they'd have got used to this stuff by now).

Here are Miller's highlights and Chandler Bing's reaction at MSNBC:

When I first saw the white house press secretary, Sean Spicer I thought he would be the insane, nut job face of the administration. Now he doesn't even make the top 5 repugnant people there. In fact he can seem quite normal and competent. I love watching the BBC4 program on Mon- thurs at 7pm 100 days.

Everytime you think 'That's the real nutjob', they wheel another one out, and he makes the previous loon seem stable in comparison.

Madness.

Luckily, we have it so much better

Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott, Davis, Fox, Johnson, Gove, Farage, Nuttall, Galloway and my favourite, Philip Davies.

Different degrees of nutters I guess, though Philip Davies could get a place other there.

A corker of a letter to the NYT from the guy who (literally) wrote the book on narcissism.

Meanwhile

mmmmm Russian hookers mmmmm golden showers

I thought Trump was a cleanliness freak. (Hates shaking hands with people because he might catch their germs, washing his hands all the time etc etc)

Golden showers don't really fit into that profile.

I don't think the rumours are true, but to be fair I believe the accusation was that he just watched. So maybe he kept his distance and had a little tug with some marigolds on.

There you go, that should be the last image you have in your mind before bedtime.

He really had no idea when he took office that the President can't just do whatever he wants did he?

It's like when you're an 11yr old and you're pissed off that you want some sweets and your mum won't buy them for you,

"When I'm president I'm going to make it a law that every kid has sweets all the time"

You would have thought, even as big a bumbling muppet as he comes across in most things he does he still spearheads a Billion$ business and would have the common sense to not start fights with the supreme court >5 weeks into his term! Slowly slowly Donnie boy...
