I'm glad I'm not in my 20's anymore when it was pushed on us as the biggest party night on the year. Not sure I'll even go out tomorrow night, can get pissed with my mates any night of the year....

A chap at work said he'd walked past a pub with a sign outside saying "We are open until 12am New Year's Eve", his point being it'd be terrible to go somewhere where they chuck you out bang on the new year.

My response was "You couldn't go there anyway. According to the sign, the pub's closed all day"
