Mullins suggests that they're thinking about going to the Cheltenham Bumper with Augusta Kate.

Hendo playing games with me on his stable tour.

Reckoned L'ami worked like Sprinter before The Kingmaker! Would make him an ew cert vs Douvan

Pleased he has confirmed Beauv will take on Min.

At least we're looking like getting a run, I was worried they'd come out and say L'Ami was lame or something.

In other news, Arctic Fire out of Champ Hurdle, too.

Derek O'Connor does a u-turn, and Tizzard ends up in the lurch.

Hope he unseats!

Ms Pendleton might be available.

Don't start...

Not sure what's happening with the internal politics on the presentation front - SJP have had a fantastic result with the Pendleton initiative. Her copping last out was probably a greater EV win for SJP than anyone that bet on Pacha du Polder.

Back to the form...

I really fancy Starchitect. The form's in the book and the hand open to some extent following the Betfair Hurdle second but the simple fact remains it's the only Pipe runner in the MARTIN PIPE hurdle. At 25/1 NRNB I would take an impossibly short price it goes off shorter if making it to post.

Ivan Grozny is a bit more left field but borne out of backing Wicklow Brave for the County last year, thus completing the Imperial Cup (Ebony Express) County Hurdle double (thin, I know). To my mind Mullins now looks for a reasonably seasoned 6yo for the race, preferably with a quiet prep run in a big field in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury. Ivan is rated 7lbs higher than Wicklow Brave, but each carries big field Cheltenham form and is under the radar after less than stellar prep. I think Paul Townend will get the ride and after beating Kitten Rock (stellar form) after a disappointing effort in a race that worked out incredibly well he could be chucked in - he was smashed into favouritism in the Triumph Hurdle before a disturbed prep after all.

EACH WAY DOUBLE O CLOCK!!

David Pipe's got five in the boys' race: Starchitect, Fingertips, Dell’ Arca, Batavir and Mount Haven.

Starchitect's only up 6lb for that Schweppes second and he should go better for that first run and on better ground. He's also in the County Hurdle and Coral Cup. Handicap weights here: http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/10188842/cheltenham-handicap-weights-revealed
