This is incredibly irresponsible.

What are they going to do when they enter someone's house and there's an angry Rottweiler sat there waiting for them?

What about if there's a nice friendly dog who just decides to leg it past them out in to the street?

Such a stupid thing to do.

Obvs need a warrant to search a house but would you rather the police told you your house was unlocked or come back to find burglars had been there? I think it comes under crime prevention,esp when they find six in half an hour. I don't think they've done anything wrong and highlighting it should hopefully encourage others to lock their doors.
