I'd have much rather seen Cruyff at the top table than Platini.   A great player, coach and pioneer.

One of the greatest ever and he'll be missed.

I can remember being at football camps in 1987-1990 (aged 7-10) and being able to pull off the Cruyff turn made you a decent player, it wasn't easy.

I think every top 10 footballers ever list would include him. Great attitude too.

I was too young to appreciate him in his prime, but it's a sign of a legend of the game that this doesn't matter.
