$27 NLO8 6-max tourney on 'stars with no players known to us.

First hand - everyone has 3k and we are BB, 10/20 - UTG goes allin and all fold.

Second hand - folds to button who 3x opens to 60.

We peel As two hearts from SB, only for BB to shove again.

Button folds.

We?

Call every time.   We even beat a fair few hands containing aces.  Who was it?   There are several players on stars who simply shove half decent aces every time regardless of the level and domestic absolute nutjobs.

Playwmynuts who I since discovered has a decent record and seems to be an O8 specialist.

Yeah I called fairly quickly and bricked v half-decent AA, but was wondering if anyone would wait for a better spot. It wasn't a re-entry.

I don't think you can wait, your hand is top 5% or so and he has played like a nutter.  I'd make a note of this hand after.  No point in paying him off next time.  I haven't played him much, but that looks pretty old school.

Against playwmynuts I would definitely fold. He is a pretty decent MTT player. Not sure about nowadays but he used to play higher stakes cash O8, played a few big pots with him around 2008/2009.

Against a random who has shoved the hand before I guess a call is fine and I am sure is +ev. Personally I would rather try and find my way into some pots cheaper and chip up and then when my stack allows it start making these calls in the knowledge it isn't for my tourney life.

I'd fold for 150 and call for 50. Especially from the BB this deep he shouldn't be jamming any hands we do that well against.  We are 40% vs AA**
