Any of the old pro's from era that kick started the poker boom in this country (ie the original late night poker) playing?

no none at all. interesting point, how many of these are still poker active?

Simon Trumper is prowling the room like a caged tiger. He'll have to count!

You know where this is leading..

Tim Blake raises with Kings

John Hayward flat calls

it comes King high, two spades

K-4-5

Happy days (for now)

Blake leads and is called

6 on the turn

Blake leads 14,000 this time, call

river 3

What to do? Blake leads again, Hayward shoves ( coverinng) and Blake calls with the air of a man who knows what is coming but has to call anyway

Hayward A-7 to knock Blake out (again) with the immortal words

Quote

sorry, i was intending to float you on the river

Leo McClean has 45,000 on the button

afterwards he told me

Quote

such a great spot here

and he shoved Ace-four suited

get past Luke and its probably job’s a good un but Luke has a hand, Kings, calls and knocks Leo out of this flight

9 left on the first flight

chip leaders are richard paul and john hayward

Hayward just won a big pot off leon campbell, setting campbell in on the turn of a board having called pre in position, called on the flop too

Campbell folded after a long think

Richard Paul called a raise from daniel stacey with

it came

Stacey continuation bet

Paul kept a straight face and called calmly

Stacey shoved the turn, a

Paul called and stacked off

Paul has 3 big stacks of purples, 100k each plus change so is going great guns

Scores on the doors

the online flights had 60

the 12pm flight 50

the 5m flight 56

so 166 total needing 500

thats 334 needed over

12pm and 5pm tomorrow

an online day one tomorrow night

and a monday turbo

hit it, and the next deepstack is £300,000 GTD.

Don’t hit it and if you can play you’ll be in with a shot at a slice of the value
