Can't see anything on here, but have seen some posts on Facebook saying he's lost his battle with cancer.

Shocking news if accurate (looks like the initial announcement came from his sister, so I presume it is).

Given his former links with blonde I'm assuming the news is just surfacing, so sorry to be the bearer of this information.

RIP El Blondie.

Just seen a post on Facebook saying Dave has passed away.  As someone who is more a "lurker" these days than a poster, reminded me of the early days and Dave's involvement with Blonde and the forum in the early days - so many good memories.

I have no idea whether the post is right, however no reason to think it isn't.  Thoughts with his family and friends if the news i confirmed.

Was such a nice bloke and well respected in the poker community for so long, that in it self shows what a stand up guy he was. RIP Dave the Original Blonde

Noo. Dave was one of the good guys. One of the guys I first remembered from late night poker and his competitiveness intrigued me when I joined the poker scene in 2005.

RIP Dave

Very sad news. Like so many have and will say "a true gent and a great player". My thoughts go out to remaining family at this sad time.

RIP
