6 or the worlds top 10 and 12 of the top 20? Not sure i’d call it a weak field.

OK, cool, I respect your golf views. Feels to me like 40% of the best players missing is enough to make CC interesting at 100/1. He’s currently best priced for The Players at 66/1, all of the WGR top 20 appear to be quoted for that. That will get a bit bigger but I’m happy with my 100/1 for the API.

Also some of the ones that are missing are ones I have rated to keep on side atm. Rahm, Schauffele, JT. If I’m right about that, the top of the market will be on the short side.

A couple of long-priced fancies for me this week at Bay Hill both ew 1/5 1-8: Ben An @80/1 and Matt Wallace @100/1.

Also thrown a small dart at Mad Kevin just in case.

I've added Tyrrell Hatton @66/1 ew 1-8 to my US hit squad, and Andrea Pavan @50/1 ew 1-7 in Qatar.

Really looking forward to Bay Hill as a pre-Chelts distraction and hopefully ammo-booster - excellent course with slick greens and reportedly more severe rough this year.

I wasn’t saying I didn’t feel Champ was a fair price, more just a comment about on the strength of the top of the market.

Champ is an interesting case. Obviously blasted out of the blocks and his length off the tee  is such an extreme weapon. Just seems to me that he hasn’t quite figured the rest of the game out. He’s probably not been helped by being forced into the limelight as he keeps getting put in the featured groups every week. Long term that’s probably great but he’s still learning his craft and he could probably do with being shielded away for a bit.

Gone for Day (12/1), Hideki (25/1) and RCB (50/1 ew).

May have a punt on Champ, although his SG on approach and ATG are worrying on a course like this.

Yeah, lying about politics is the same as tipping bets. My record in the latter is just fine (and you know it)

That's a very cheap shot Adz and you really should know better.

A couple of reasonable sweats for this evening, one way or another it's going to be emotional.
