Never look a gift horse in the mouth. (without Googling what does this mean where does it come from?)


You can age a horse by looking at it's teeth. If you receive a horse as a gift, it's considered impolite to look in its mouth as you can see if you've been gifted an old or new horse( summat like that I think). You should just accept the gift in the spirit it was given.

You can age a horse by looking at it's teeth. If you receive a horse as a gift, it's considered impolite to look in its mouth as you can see if you've been gifted an old or new horse( summat like that I think). You should just accept the gift in the spirit it was given.
