Sorted thanks. Gone in again on shrewd at 16/1 1/4 first 4.
Getting the train to York from Sheffield at about 11.30 am arriving into York at around 12.40
Then we'll hop on a bus to the course. Last time I went to York
Scouting for girls were on after and I had a bit too much pink champers and got
In a right tangle, just the one or 2 beers today. Not sure there's gonna be much on for kids
But as long as there's banter and burgers and chips Fred will have a good time.
1.55 Camel has owned this race the past few years and has put orions bow up on Facebook
Which sends the alarm bells ringing and i do see his point but really like the two I've put up
Omeara has the favourite also so on track I'll prob do some forecasts and tricasts and I've had a silly permed treble
1.55 3 omearas
4.15 star rider/shrewd
4.50'the fahey pair.
12 £5 trebles for a bit of fun. Me and Fred gonna get the placepot
Cracked on the train down there.
Last meeting I was at was thirsk a few weeks back and Keith and Jake
Met me there, Jake has a quid or 50p each way on one he likes
But is a few quid in make up with Keith so when he got a winner he didn't get a coin
Camel is militant in his old age. Hope to hear Jake has grinded his make up figure down today

Both PP and Hills showing fifth first 3 in the International. Not sure what to make of it. Seems strange they would make the same mistake, but it can't be right? I have checked both sites and oddschecker is showing the info from the original sites.
Who knows with all the crazy each way terms you see these days. I am no longer sure what is normal. I'd happily take Cliffs of Moher at 11/2, fifth first 3 if right.
This is a genuine offer at Hills.
Cliffs of Moher and Venice Beach seems a nice e/w double. Put in something in the first and last for fun times.
Hills don't like me enough and kids are on holiday so makes the shop run difficult.

I could prob get quite a bit on through different people and I know
The place bet is huge value, I just don't have a strong enough view on the race
And the pace angle makes it even trickier in a tactically run race though I'd wanna be with
Ryan Moore every time however if it doesn't look like winning then he might ease up
1 out which is a problem for the bet, just gonna leave some ev on the floor here

If I was gonna take advantage I'd probably bet 3 of the big 4 each way.
Still a Churchill fan for the race but he would be my 4th pick as an ew play here

I suspect all are value on a fifth first 3, though haven't checked betfair. I managed to get some money on the double, but computer said no when trying to put a treble on with one in the first. I have probably made a mighty cock-up on the bet placement and should just have lucky 15'd it. That account was already in trouble anyway.
Loved the Camel make up story. Tough love.
Hope you get the lot at York.

Added Soie Dleau and Tathmeen to the e/w lucky 15. I thought I'd not go overboard and tried for a £5 lucky 15. Limited to £4.93. That extra 7p made all the difference. Fifth first 5 on the 2 handicaps, which I hate, but better than the fifth first 4 you'll get with 95% of the bookies at York.

Has the going change made a difference to the selections Trigg?
I backed Mirage Dancer in the Great Voltigeur, there is lots to like about it.

Trigg is at York, giving it large, along with Fred, Camel and Jake, so I doubt he'll be reading blonde.

Already on way home in a taxi Fred's had a complete meltdown and been laid ion the grass screaming, managed to calm
Him down and he's settled now. Not a good start punting wise either

Sorry to hear that.
You just missed a Crowley masterclass, and Im speaking from a no bet perspective. Glorious the way he kidded his mount in a G1 race.

Barney Roy and Cliffs of Moher looked to be fighting for the lead for no good reason to me. Dare say mine had no chance anyway, but they seemed to set up perfectly for Crowley.
FWIW The commentator on ITV said it was a good even pace. I was thinking, maybe if the race was over a mile...
I haven't seen any sectional times.
Sad to hear you had to go home, Trigg.

Wasn't it just?
An absolute delight to watch.
The front 2 were thrashing away with their whips, riding hell for leather, & Crowley was just sat there, quiet as a mouse, biding his time. Piggott will have loved that.
Hard to believe this was a Gp1, with half a mill up top & some lovely black type to the winner.
