Wow. So the question I guess is- if he moves in blind, and it's folded to you in the Big blind, what do you call with?

Main Event

68,000

Nothing of real significance.

Raise AQ, we go five way. Queen high two diamonds. I bet 2,300, seat nine (who I think we are now putting as Racener) calls. Turn is a brick, I bet 5,500, he folds

Four limpers to my big, I have T5 on a turn of KT96. I bet a very small 600 into 2,800. Italian guy (UTG limper) raises to 1,300. Ouch. I think about all three options. It would seem he has something like K7 alot of the time. Therefore, I'm very interested in raising. But if there's one thing I learnt walking home from the Italian Poker Tour, it is to not try to make an Italian fold. So, instead, I folded.

Raise button with K7, Racener defends big, I bet flop and then give up on T4487, he has JT

I'm giving the table a 7/10. Nothing out of line has really happened at all

Main Event

Ouch ouch.

49k

I have   UTG at 200-400(400). Raise to 1,000, big blind calls.

Flop is a nice three clubs. He checks. I bet a very exploitative, big, 2,500 into 2,600. Call

He is the only new addition to the table. I didnt pick up any particular excitement about the flop. (Which sadly turns out to be wrong)

Turn is three clubs . I do think about a bet-check-bet line, but I think I'm not beaten enough of the time. I think it has to be right to go for three streets.

Bet 4,500 into 7,600. Call

River is a nice three clubs

I bet 8,000 into 16,600. That feels fairly standard.

The speech now begins. It's not clear at first what this means. But when he says "well I don't believe he has a straight," the news for one pair seems to be bad.

He sigh calls. He has flopped top set.

If he check raises turn or river, I guess it's just an easy fold. If he check raises the flop, not sure what happens. Although I guess the news means he is unlikely to check raise any flops
from this point.

Main Event

Making sure I take a mental note of every hand history. It definitely wouldn't be the most interesting table in this Main Event room, but the one seat is definitely now opening up too much having won some chips, so I'll be using my clean image against him at some point

Raise UTG. Four way (reasonably typical)

Flop is

Check fold to a hijack bet and a button call.

Main Event

Just started level four, 47,500

One of the Germans (whose name I should remember but don't) has just joined the table. That's a shame

Main Event

Raise at 300-500(500) lojack. Button and both blinds call (No respect for the old guy)

Board comes , for the rivered effective nuts.

The flop was checked round. I bet 2k into 5,200 on the turn.

Despite it being the case king, it actually felt fairly likely when the river was dealt that he had a king. I just think he doesn't slow play a jack.

I bet 5,500 into 9,200. He raises to 17,200.

I guess I could potentially try it- that being the move all in, on the small hope he believes me for four Jacks. But he's not going to, and this is the Main Event. However tiny the chance is that he himself has four Jacks, it's not zero. I call and he has

Main Event

48,600

Table is probably slightly below par for the Main. (As in, slightly on the unlucky side). Racener, the German, two other Euros who are good (I would guess Romania and Portugal), and no one doing anything too splashy

Well, with 40 minutes to go in level four, they have paused the clock
