$10,000 razz

Potentially not the most encouraging start to today's 10k razz event. I enter the Amazon room, and a security guard stepped across and barked at me "NO SPECTATORS SIR."

I don't know what I was meant to not be spectating, but I would love it to be the razz

I hope you don't hit a pair all day.

Bedtime for bozo here in blighty. Looking forward to several pages of rippage in the morning.

$10,000 razz

Cheers guys. Interesting spot on 6th

I have (34)6262 against (xx)87KK

(Classic razz spot. He leads the action because he has the "lead" with a pair of kings against my two pair)

He bets his lead, which momentarily confuses because he must be sure I have the better draw, and I could swear that a 6 draw is a favourite to a made king and inferior draw. I raise.

The funny thing that, logically, his difference of opinion about who is favourite in this spot should mean that he raises back, and that we continue to do so. But he does just call.

I did then hit that river (with an eight), but no luck since.

First break, 59k

$10000 razz

Interesting. Twice today the action has been on me on the river, I have made some kind of movement to bet, and, long before putting chips into the pot, the opponent has reached for their call. The first time, I was going to make a very thin, questionable value bet. The second, I was actually going to bluff. So both times, I changed my decision to a check.

I presume each time it wasn't a "live trick" of them pretending they were going to call when they weren't. It also felt absolutely fine for me to take the opportunity to change my decision

Level 5, I have 50k

$10000 razz

I don't think there was anything I could do about any one of those pots.

Oh well, onto the Omaha mix tomorrow, which should be good
