Good morning

It’s been too long, for those of you that don’t know me I am taximan007 (I am unable  to remember log in details).
To those that do know me I hope you are all well.

A lot has happened since I last posted mainly good some not so good but the ‘sun is shining’ in taximans life.

So for now I will explain my current situation, the past 8 months I have been in Philippines (no longer with Roxanne ), running a water refilling station providing FREE water to the town/village people there. During this time my health went downhill I believe because of not being able to get my diabetic meds.

So as the money started to run out I made the decision to return to the UK (2008 revisited!)

So on Sunday I arrived back in Heathrow but of course it’s different this time with self quarantine etc. My ex employers have been so very kind and have given me a room free of charge in one of their London hotels to complete my quarantine.

Whilst here I am actively looking for work , any work although as of yet nothing positive to report.

My main problem is going to be accommodation as currently I am on a very LIMITED budget and not in a position to pay a months rent AND a deposit.

I have today signed up on a ‘sofa surfing’ website so hoping for some luck there and my question here to the good people of blonde is if anyone has/knows off a room, sofa, floor space , garage, shed or anything available for free or for a minimum rent I would be most grateful.

The long standing members here who know me will know this is hard for me to ask as I’m a person who generally asks for nothing but right now needs must!

On to other news both my parents passed away earlier this year in a short space of time of each other and so now the estate is being sorted out, once this has been completed I will be in a position to return to the Philippines and retire and of course repay the kindness anyone were able to offer me.

As I said I’m currently in London but am prepared to move anywhere in the country in order to survive my situation.

I thank you ALL for taking the time to read this.

Hi Graham,

Sorry to hear of your parents passing, and that you've had such a nightmare time of things.

I wish in a position to be able to help in someway, and hope you manage to get something fixed up before time at quarantine is done.

Hope you manage to get things resolved and back to sunnier climates soonest, mate.

At least it’s summer so IF I do end up on the street next week it shouldn’t be too hard !

Been in quarantine since about 2011, so was already trained up for this Smiley

It always seems to be in one hit, that's the worst part.

Fingers crossed you manage to get something sorted out lively, mate.
