I am, sadly, OUT.

Got 3m at 100kBB. Raise AcJs to 200k from HJ. Ben heath makes it 525k button. Don't love it. But this has to be right. He's 3betfolded vs two in last 3 hours. I think my image will be relatively good vs him. I think he can give me the illusion of fold equity up to 650k, and therefore, whilst not at all definite, it fits well with being a cheaper 3bet-to fold.

I move effectively all in.  He's all in. Call. He has black Kings

Not totally sure about either hand, but I think I've just run AQ and AJ into Kings twice in probable cooler spots.

Cashed in 73rd for $60,800

Thanks for everything guys. Semi rushing to airport

So, sorry about the shorter updates last couple of days. Felt right to keep the absolute full focus.

So, our downfall from chip peak effectively came from running into Kings twice, with AQ and AJ respectively.

The second, to Ben Heath, I think I am fine with. The first is in the category of,  I would do the same again, but am not fully convinced.

At 80k BB and 7 handed, UTG raises to 200k from 1.35m (17 bigs).

Folded round to my small blind, where I have , and have him well covered.

Here are my thoughts

- Most crucially, I don't know who it is. American,  about 45. I would put him somewhere around average.

- He has 1.35m, but actually when asked by Heath, before he folded, and said '1.2 or 1.3.' There are two different elements to this. Firstly, it is significant that he doesn't know his stack. Secondly,  if he thinks he has 15 or 16 bigs, I am actually playing against whatever my perception is of his 15-16bb range,  rather than the 17bb he does have

- What is the chance that the reality is that his choice to raise, and not go all in, means he is always massive? AA, KK, QQ? It's definitely possible.  However,  what is inconsistent with this is his large sizing to 200k. You would think it more likely that someone who did want to go for value with the absolute top of range, would do so with the min sizing.

I think, especially with the inconsistent larger sizing,  that it all added up to being random enough,  that it was more likely the case that this sizing was all of his hands (I.e. that he had no shoves), or at least part of a random group of hands that would just put in a raise to 200k

When I saw the Kings, I did think,  have I just walked into an obvious trap here? But, maybe not.

Anyway, no big regrets.  On the flight back,  with WiFi, now

Thanks again guys

Thanks for the detailed explanation of your thought process, Stu.

I think it’s fair to say that whilst it would have been nice to get more of it through the tournament itself, we’re all far happier that you were focusing all your attention on the game. Another excellent run complete with a very good cash/ROI - surely it’s only a matter of time until you FT one of these huge pots…

Hope you have a fabulous Christmas season with the family
