I spoke briefly with Stu today and I believe he will be posting later today but I need to write that noone should be sending him any money (obviously) at this moment in time

Sorry for the delay.
I am so deeply sorry for this, and nothing I say is in the slightest bit an excuse, or makes anything in the slightest bit OK.
The rumours are of course true. I'm sure everyone has heard. If anyone would like the full details of everything, that I have sent to all backers, please message me and I will send it all through.
I have paid the 3 people - Trev (mondatoo), Henry (bagel) and Alan - who bought a piece via Blonde everything that is owed, and have arranged to pay rfgqqabc what is owed to him by next Wednesday, 2nd July. Nothing makes it in the slightest bit OK.
I of course expect no forgiveness at all, most importantly from the backers, but also from UK poker in general. I will never set foot in a UK casino again; that is absolute. I will go to Grosvenor and self-ban for ever on Monday, to make it completely absolute.
I am so sorry for blonde's involvement in this. To state the massively obvious, it has absolutely nothing to do with anyone but me, and I will be deeply sorry for ever.

This post is whole lot of nothing.
How are people going to forgive you if we don’t know what you’ve done and why you’ve done it?

Stu has done something very out of character,
I feel as his friends, and people who have known him for such a long time, the prime concern here is Stu's welfare, and I'm not sure it would be fair on him for this all to be aired on a public forum.

I have given him time to post what he has done. He is clearly not going to, and has been spending his time trying to cover things up as much as possible. What actually happened, is that four of the re-entries, and one of the entries, were fake. $16.6k of buy-ins that never actually happened. He tried to make out he had miscounted a $1.5k, but he was just hoping that pretending he miscounted by 1 would somehow cover this whole thing up.
June 5th: $1.5k Badugi. He did not re-enter.
June 7th: $1.1k satellite. He did not re-enter.
June 14th: $10k Big O. He never sat down at the table.
June 18th: $1.5k PLO. He did not re-enter.
June 19th: $2.5k Mixed Lowball. He did not re-enter.
So the first bust outs of the tournaments he did not re-enter are fictional. For the $10k Big O all the hand histories are fictional.

How exactly do we know “it’s completely out of character “?
This is the first time it’s been possible to check on buy ins and re entries and he’s been caught.
I’m very glad I didn’t have a piece this year, but I’ve bought in the past
If he’s stupid enough to try and steal while his actions are tracked it must be big odds on he did it undetected over the last decade or more.
Making up fake hand histories is the sickest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Making up hand histories on an event that is well documented seems a bit delusional (if expecting to get away with it ) suggesting something out of character indeed.
If there had been shenanigans in previous years I would like to think that in such high profile events with such a high profile player such as Stu these would have been spotted at the time.
I’ve also invested small amounts in Stu’s vegas trips previously and always thoroughly enjoyed the updates and railing Stu’s progress and also must say it was always a pleasure in dealing with Stu. Whilst I can’t say for certain that nothing untoward has happened previously I would like to hope this is the case.
Stu, I hope whatever issues you have been experiencing you soon resolve and wish you all the very best for the future. Also whatever mistake you have made here you will put right no doubt and whilst it does not excuse what you have done will start the path to healing and recovery.

I received the balance owed from Vegas today, I think most other stakers were paid out beforehand. I have also checked all the 2024 entries I could and found no discrepancies. I believe stu hit rock bottom this year during his trip and that's why he did something so stupid. It's almost impossible to prove, maybe he could via his loyalty card or something but I think we'll never really know.
I have an outstanding balance with Stu from previous live tournaments and have consented to pay off over time whilst he gets his shit together. This trip ruined his career, which is partly why I didn't want to go into full details despite feeling I had to say something even though it felt fairly unlikely he would hurt anyone else.
This hurts me personally tbh, and I've expressed how I fell with Stu but I wish him the best with fixing everything and sorting his shit out.
